Demonstration in Springfield! Our southern neighbors from Weed, CA are being bullied by Oregon’s own Roseburg Forest Products, and they are coming to Eugene to push back against them. Our homecourt timber company stole the rights to their town’s drinking water, made a contract to sell it to the bottled water company Crystal Geyser, and then sued community members and the Weed City Council for speaking out about it. This is unfair corporate bullying, and WCWC are asking for our help in pressuring Roseburg to drop this frivolous law suit and stay away from their drinking water!
