Anonymous Action Reporting

Click here to anonymously report police repression

The voices of those involved in controversial events and their reasons for action are often lost in the discussion because they cannot share them without repercussions. We want to hear from you and help you get the word out about your local/regional action.

Please read these guidelines for submitting anonymous action reports.

Security and Anonymity

  • We have taken what precautions we can on this site to insure privacy and anonymity (info here). However tracking is pervasive and there is no guarantee of security.
  • The level of precautions you take should match the type of action you’re submitting information about. If it’s a relatively low risk action just submitting the form below anonymously should be fine. For bigger actions, consider using TOR, encrypted email, etc.
  • Do not share anything that directly or indirectly incriminates individuals.
  • Remove METADATA and EXIF data from any PDFs, Images, or Videos.
  • Keep in mind anything posted here will be read by friends and enemies alike.
  • See Security Culture and Digital Security Tools for more info.
  • Here is a guide to submitting anonymous communiques

Guidelines

These are guidelines not requirements. Every situation is different and context is important.

  • This is to share information about an action that has already happened. It is your opportunity to share your side of the story.
  • Include the basics of the action and analysis of why such action was necessary. Give the larger context or history (or link to other sources that do.)
  • Does the analysis come from an autonomous and anti-authoritarian, anti-colonial, and anti-capitalist perspective?
  • Does your action align with NAC’s Mission and Principles?
  • Please proofread, edit, and fact check your piece. Link to supporting facts or citing sources.
  • Photos or videos are encouraged (But be sure to wipe them of meta data first).

Publication:

  • We do not guarantee that we will publish all submissions. We will not publish if we think it would endanger anyone (the action participants, NAC, or others). And we will not publish if the action does not align with our Mission and Principles.
  • We will act to publish submissions promptly (do not submit until you’re ready to publish). But in some cases it may take up to 24 hours.
