Calling All Forest Defenders! 🐺🌲

You are invited to the Cascadia Wildlands Field Checking Basecamp at the Bureau of Land Management’s proposed Little River timber sale project from June 20-25th, 2025 (you can join us for one, a few, or all days). The timber sale is located east of Roseburg, about 1.5 hours from Eugene on the traditional homelands of the Cow Creek Umpqua, Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla peoples.

Field Checking (or sometimes called field surveying or ground-truthing) is foundational to developing strong campaigns to fight back against bad logging projects on public lands. As the Trump admin attempts to ramp up the cut, it’s more important than ever that we come together to firm up our skills and community with one another in order to effectively fight back.
