SUMMARY:NAC November 2026 Welcome Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Welcome Meetings are a seasonal meeting to welcome new people to the collective and come together to learn what people are working on\, gather advice\, and discuss projects. \nWhen: Sunday\, November 8th 3-5pm\nIn person: Growers Market Upstairs (454 Willamette. Door between Morning Glory and Domek)\nOnline: https://meet.mayfirst.org/nacwelcome (Use Brave/Chrome for best results) \nMasks required at indoor meetings. If you don’t want to wear a mask\, you can attend online. \nIf you can’t make this meeting but would still like to be involved you can contact us here: https://neighborhoodanarchists.org/get-involved/ \nIf you’d like to read ahead\, you can read about things we’ll cover at the meeting here: https://neighborhoodanarchists.org/intro-to-nac \nAccessibility: NAC strives to have our meetings be accessible to everyone. Please do what you need to do to take care of yourself and let us know if there’s anything that would be helpful. Please consider not wearing strong scents for those who are sensitive. If you have any questions or accessibility needs please email us at contact@neighborhoodanarchists.org. \nWe at NAC recognize that our society is dominated by intersecting oppressive power structures\, including capitalism\, the state\, white supremacy / racism\, cis-hetero-patriarchy\, ableism\, agism\, and classism. We are committed to intersectional action in all that we do. \nSome of our current projects: \nShare Fair – A really free market and fun social event with free food\, clothes\, supplies\, massages\, haircuts\, music\, and services. \nRadical Repair – Creating a Transformative Justice framework to support community accountability processes and conflict resolution. \nFree Skool – Free workshops / skill shares on organizing\, DIY\, and resilience. \nPropaganda – Telling people about NAC and anarchism through tabling\, reading groups\, video nights\, theory discussions\, zine making\, etc. \nTrans Relocation – Supporting trans people in other states to move to Oregon. \nBrake Light Clinics – Setting up clinics to do free minor car repairs to reduce traffic stops (and subsequent ICE or other law enforcement investigations).
