This week it’s American Drug War: The Last White Hope (2007). Film starts at 7:45\, feel free to drop by and come join us at any point\, it’s a long one this time. I will do my best to have vegan popcorn and some refreshments out.\nAlso feel free to come by and plug your local activist group\, and bring handbills/propaganda with you to share\, folks are also welcome to hang around and network with one another before or after the film \nFilm Description: Inspired by the death of four family members from “legal drugs” Texas filmmaker Kevin Booth sets out to discover why the Drug War has become such a big failure.\nThree and a half years in the making the film follows gang members\, former DEA agents\, CIA officers\, narcotics officers\, judges\, politicians\, prisoners and celebrities.\nMost notably the film befriends Freeway Ricky Ross; the man many accuse for starting the Crack epidemic\, who after being arrested discovered that his cocaine source had been working for the CIA.

The documentary reveals how the Bougainville Revolutionary Army (BRA) managed to overcome the marine blockade strategy used by the Papuan army by using coconut oil as fuel for their vehicles
