DESCRIPTION:The Neighborhood Anarchist Collective (NAC) strives to grow the anarchist movement through strategic direct action and by providing a welcoming environment for education and participation. We organize locally to help build a society where neighbors support each other to meet basic needs\, individuals are free to follow their passions\, and empowered communities collectively shape the future.\n\nWe have been working on the foundations and structure of the group for the last few months and are ready for a semi-public outreach/kickoff party!\n\nWhat you can expect at the kickoff:\n\n\nA potluck meal and introductions to get to know each other (enough food will be provided\, feel free to bring a dish to share if you’d like)\nA short presentation of the structure and principles of the group\nCollective visioning to choose the first primary projects we’ll be working on\nInformation on next steps and how to get involved in NAC\nSocializing time afterward with some awesome live music
