SUMMARY:NAC Fall 2025 Welcome Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Welcome Meetings are a seasonal meeting to welcome new people to the collective and come together to learn what people are working on\, gather advice\, and discuss projects. \nWhen: Sunday\, September 14th 3-5pm\nIn person: Alton Baker Park (Near covered areas) (Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on)\nOnline: https://meet.mayfirst.org/nacwelcome (Use Brave/Chrome for best results) \nWe’ll also be doing a potluck 2-3pm in the park! Join us! Please bring a dish or drink to share if able\, but come anyway if you can’t! We are committed to intersectional action in all that we do. \nSome of our current projects: \nShare Fair – A really free market and fun social event with free food\, clothes\, supplies\, massages\, haircuts\, music\, and services. \nRadical Repair – Creating a Transformative Justice framework to support community accountability processes and conflict resolution. \nFree Skool – Free workshops / skill shares on organizing\, DIY\, and resilience. \nEducation – Telling people about NAC and anarchism through tabling\, reading groups\, video nights\, theory discussions\, zine making\, etc. \nTrans Relocation – Supporting trans people in other states to move to Oregon. \nBrake Light Clinics – Setting up clinics to do free minor car repairs to reduce traffic stops (and subsequent ICE or other law enforcement investigations). \nOffline Community Planning – We may not always be able to reliably connect online. Here we coordinate how we can meet safely to support our community. \nPalestine Working Group – Looking at how NAC can contribute to a free Palestine. \nResource Guide – Working on updating the Little Guide to Free Resources in Eugene.
